  • Overview

    eFinancial is seeking a new Case Manager to manage the relationships and underwriting decision processes for our eIndependent Agent’s new business.  As an integral role in the processing of new business, the Case Manager will act as the key liaison between the customer, Agent, and insurance carrier.  Through impeccable service and subject matter expertise, the Case Manager will oversee multiple relationships by closely aligning themselves to the needs and preferences of the Agent’s business.  A successful Case Manager will thrive in a fast paced and high volume environment, act as a subject matter expert in carrier requirement knowledge and be a collaborative team player.

    Responsibilities


    • Manage relationships with eIndependent Agents, customers, and underwriting to obtain required information prior to submission to the insurance carrier

    • Process new insurance applications from initial submission through underwriting to increase approved cases

    • Review new insurance applications received at the carrier for required information and documents

    • Proactively take necessary actions to move the application process forward within specified time frame including follow ups with customers, agents, vendors and insurance carriers

    • Guide applications through the underwriting process while ensuring they meet internal, underwriting, and appropriate regulatory rules and guidelines

    • Maintain detailed, compliant and accurate files

    • Prepare correspondence and/or policy information to mail or electronically send to insurance carriers and clients

    • Clear written and verbal communication regarding the application status to all interested parties (agents, carriers, sales, management)

    Qualifications


    • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school

    • 1-2 years of relative experience in insurance underwriting, business processing, or case management preferred
